About Me

Ryan at BoilerMake hackathon

Hi! I'm Ryan Jackman, a rising junior studying Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. I've been passionate about coding since high school, and over the years, I've turned that passion into real-world experience — both as a student, mentor, and professional.

I'm a 2x hackathon winner, including first place in national-level competitions for innovative tech solutions. I also help run hackathons at OSU, where I organize events that empower hundreds of students to build creative projects in just 24 hours. Through my role as Vice President of CSE Peer Mentors, I lead a team that supports and guides freshman students in computer science, making complex topics accessible and fun.

Beyond campus, I've also worked professionally in software engineering, giving me hands-on industry experience that I bring into every lesson I teach.

My tutoring sessions are designed to be fun, practical, and personalized—whether your child is just starting out with coding or wants to dive deeper into more advanced projects. I believe that anyone can learn to code with the right support, and I'm here to help make that journey exciting and rewarding.
